The Kuari Pass trek is at an altitude of 12,516 feet and is a 33 KM long trek that also provides you beautiful views of Dronagiri, Chitrakantha, Chaukhamba, and Tali Top, Meadows and beautiful forests blooming with rhododendrons, oak trees make your trek path more beautiful. While on the trek, you can also catch mesmerizing views of holy rivers like Bhagirathi and Alaknanda.
The trek starts from Pipalkoti in the Chamoli district of the Himalayas, which has developed into a hub for trekkers and pilgrims in this part of the Himalayas. Rare Himalayan flora and fauna are found in abundance on the trek. Even in the summer, you can begin your trek from Auli Bugyal via Gorson Top.
Our camp is located in excellent locations on this trek. Be it the jungles of Chitrakanth or the open grasslands under the shadow of Mount Dronagiri, each stay at the camps gives you a new experience of being in the lap of nature.
Overview
The really refreshing part of the trek is the walk through the luxuriant Himalayan grasslands, called Bugyal in the local language. The beauty and calmness of the Himalayan meadows are an experience that one should not miss. Most notable is Gorsan Bugyal, which has vast rolling green pastures.
